Essential Oils Used at Aldendale - Information purposes only
I have a few products that I have created that use essential oils for a specific purpose. They seem to work; people who have tried them tell me they work. I know they have worked for me. I felt it necessary to create this website for additional information that cannot be listed on the Etsy website. In case you didn't know, you're not allowed to make any medical help claims of any type when selling handmade products; that even includes listing something as "anti-bacterial soap". Many shops on Etsy list items with statements they are good for helping specific medical conditions. This is against FDA and even Etsy's, rules and regulations. I encourage you to do your own research on the benefits and dangers of specific essential oils.
Essential Oils are used by people for aromatherapy, topical applications, and sometimes internally. There are many Essential Oils available, some are dangerous to use. Rosemary & Eucalyptus may cause seizures, Eucalyptus should not be used by people with high blood pressure, very few EO’s should be used by women (or any animal) that may be pregnant. I NEVER use EO’s that have been linked to seizure activity. The following list of EO’s are those that I use on a regular basis. This lists the purported benefits (and cautions, if any) of each EO. I use no more than 3% total EO’s in my products, typically it is only 1.5%. I purchase the vast majority of my EO’s from Eden’s Garden.
